Located 18 miles south of Denver, Lone Tree is a newer community between Littleton and Parker. Lone Tree has it all, from shopping, entertainment, and businesses to trails and luxury homes.
Lone Tree was incorporated in 1995. The current population is approximately 13,000 in its 9.6 square miles area. Park Meadows, the largest shopping mall in Colorado, along with plenty of other shopping, dining, and entertainment, can be found in Lone Tree.
Despite its small size, Lone Tree has much to offer. There are several parks and open spaces. There are playgrounds, a recreation center, indoor Skydiving, bowling, and much more. Plus, Denver is just a 25-minute drive up the I-25 highway, or you can take the Light Rail for an easy commute to Denver.
Lone Tree public schools belong to the Douglas County School District, which is recognized as one of the top school districts in Colorado.
Lone Tree features two gated luxury home communities: Heritage Estates and Heritage Hills. Heritage Estates sits on a hill offering stunning views. The community also has a private 18-hole golf course, and many of the luxury homes back to the golf course.
Lone Tree also has a public golf course. Lone Tree Golf Club is an 18-hole, Arnold Palmer-designed championship course with rolling hills.
